No More Blogging

No More Blogging

Wouldn’t it be so much easier if I just decided- No More Blogging for me!

No more need for content research, no more struggling about how or what to write. And so much more.

Think about all the free time you’ll get if you put the blogging part aside!

But if I really give it a thought, what impact would that have to my business?
My thought is that it would have a major negative impact. On several levels.

This is how I see it:

To have a blog gives you your own space where you decide what to write about, how to write it and when to write about it. You can express your thoughts about what ever you think is important for the moment. And it it’s you that give the blog the tone you want it to be.

If you writhe interesting articles related to your niche, your readers will like it. Your precieved knowledge will rise and eventually, you will be seen as an authority.

I have actually decided that I will continue, and increase my blogging due to several reasons.

I’d like to explain the way I see it and the benefit of blogging. And no, I won’t go in to SEO and other technical things. My good friend and mentor Rob J Temple taught me this and I absolute agree with this strategy.

You should think and visualize your blog as your central hub. This is the center of gravity in your online business. Everything you do can derive from there, no matter if you work as an affiliate, product creator, author and so on.

The simple, but very effective strategy is like this:

You write an article on your blog. You fill it with valuable and interesting information. Post it on your blog with the ability for readers to comment and also ask questions. Leave it there for a few days and then you post it on social media. FB can be a great place to post on at first. When you post it on FB, write a short intro what the article is about with some incentive to get people to click on it. Have the same image there as you have on your article. Then you wait one or two additional days and post it on twitter, Instagram or a short video on YouTube.

When you do it like this, you create several paths back to your blog. Readers from all these social media platforms will now have a way to find you. It won’t solve all your traffic problems at once, but if you do this continuously, you will get an increasing traffic flow. (And the search engines will pick this up as well.)

And from your blog, you have the power to direct your visitors wherever you choose.  Either you can get them on your list or you can promote products or services, either your own or others and promote them as an affiliate. The choice is yours.

I’m sure you have heard people talk about the need of a funnel so you can push your prospects or customers through it, level by level (I will talk about that more in another article) and you can see this as a funnel with a bend. People who never heard about you will find you on social media, get interested in what you have to say and eventually they will end up as a thankful customer of yours. Great huh!

So, despite the headline on this article, I will increase my blogging. I will do my best to keep you interested and make you want to read what I have to say. I will teach different techniques and strategies over time. And the best way for you to keep up is to jump on my newsletter. I will let you know when there is something new that I have to share. Looking forward to see you here and I’d love to read your comments below of what you think.
